This illuminated Union 76 sign measures approximately 33.5″ in diameter. The domed face displays a blue 76 logo with a white outline set against an orange background. The sign is powered by 120-volt circuitry with replacement LED fixtures and is now offered at no reserve in Southbury, Connecticut.
The Union 76 brand was introduced by The Union Oil Company of California in 1932. The 76 logo seen here was first used circa 1967. The translucent domed face displays blue 76 numbering with a white border against an orange background.
The metal frame is unfinished, and the sign measures 33.5″ in diameter by 9″ deep and weighs approximately 10 lbs.
Illumination is provided by LED lights housed within the enclosure, and the sign is wired for 120-volt circuitry.
