1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 4-Speed

This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible spent time with the prior owner of five decades before being acquired by the seller in 2022. The car is powered by a 350ci L46 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in Daytona Yellow over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a Positraction limited-slip differential, a black convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, 15″ Rally wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and hideaway headlights. This C3 convertible shows 75k miles and is now offered with the owner’s manual, a car cover, and a Kansas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Daytona Yellow and features include a black removable hardtop, hideaway headlights, a driver-side mirror, fender vents, bright rocker moldings, and dual exhaust outlets. There are paint touch-ups and the seller notes that the right rear fender exhibits overspray.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear stainless steel trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 245/60 Hercules H/P 4000 white-letter tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features twin bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, lap belts, and Corvette-branded floormats.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, while auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery charge, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 75k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.
The 350ci L46 V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel Rochester carburetor and was rated at 350 horsepower when new.
The engine stamping is shown above. The HW suffix corresponds with a 350-horsepower, 350ci V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and Positraction limited-slip differential.
The convertible top and a fabric soft top kit will accompany the vehicle.
Decoding the trim tag reveals:
- Trim ZQ4 – Black vinyl upholstery
- Paint 984 – Daytona Yellow
The Kansas title carries an “Antique” brand.
