1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL

This 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL underwent a cosmetic refresh before being acquired by the seller in 2022, and subsequent work has involved resealing the four-speed manual transmission and rear axle, rebuilding the Becker radio, and replacing the cylinder head gasket, exhaust system, carpets, water pump and thermostat, and engine mounts. The car is powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four and is finished in black with a matching removable hardtop over red leather. This 190SL is now offered with copies of the factory production order sheet and data card, records from current ownership, a red top boot, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The speedometer and tachometer cables were replaced in 2023 and the speedometer was repaired at that time.
