1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner Club Victoria

This 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner Club Victoria was modified under previous ownership before it was purchased by the selling dealer in 2025. The car is finished in white over black and white upholstery, and power comes from a Ford FE V8 paired with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Equipment includes triple Rochester two-barrel carburetors, an Edelbrock F-380 intake manifold, a dual exhaust system, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, air conditioning, a retro-style radio, a Sun tachometer, a chrome Ididit tilt steering column, front bucket seats, and a center console. This Galaxie Starliner is now offered in North Carolina with a clean Iowa title.
The Starliner pillarless hardtop was Ford’s range-topping Galaxie model for the 1960 and 1961 model years, and featured a sweeping roofline with a wraparound rear window. A total of 68,641 examples were produced for the 1960 model year. This example was delivered from the factory in Corinthian White (M), and features a hood ornament, front corner “sights,” dual side-view mirrors, star emblems on the rear roof pillars, dual antennas, and reverse lights.
The 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are wrapped in 205/70 Firestone All-Season tires showing 2021 date codes. A spare tire is stowed under a carpeted cover in the trunk. The suspension incorporates a coil-spring independent front setup along with a live rear axle and leaf springs. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black upholstery with white inserts. Color-coordinated door panels are fitted, while black carpets line the floors. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Ford-branded retro-style stereo, a center console with cupholders, and lap belts.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a carbon-fiber-look instrument panel housing a 160-mph speedometer and aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level. An 8k-rpm Sun tachometer is mounted on the chrome Ididit tilt steering column. The digital odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 10 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The Ford FE V8 features an Edelbrock F-380 intake manifold, triple Rochester two-barrel carburetors topped with a finned aluminum air cleaner, and chrome Moroso valve covers. Chrome finish extends to the alternator, pulleys, overflow tank, air conditioning compressor, brake controls, and hood latch, and additional equipment includes braided stainless steel coolant lines, a Painless Wiring harness, and an Optima Red Top battery.
Engine block casting C1AE6015G is presented above, and it is consistent with a 352/361/390 FE V8 with two-bolt mains that was built in 1961.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. A dual exhaust system is fitted.
